This is my first-ever blog.  I got the idea to begin writing a blog from my online journalism class, which helped me master the basics of WordPress and allowed me to get a head-start on writing my opinions about sports.  Later I added on my friend from college as a second writer and thus Next Year, D.C. was born.

Together we will be focusing on our opinions about our hometown teams from Washington, D.C., and will add in posts about what’s going on in the wide world of sports as well.  Hopefully, Next Year, D.C. will provide useful and informative insight and provide critical commentary about the toils and troubles of those lovable teams from the nation’s capital.
